I am a passionate art instructor and artist, and my work has been recognized through
the 1999 NAEA Elementary Division Pacific Region Art Educator of the Year award,
as well as the 1998 CAEA Elementary Art Educatior of the Year - State of Colorado award.
I enjoy teaching and love to share my passion for art. My teaching style consists of
demonstration of media techniques and guiding students through the process of
artmaking. Our class sessions are a fun opportunity to step out of our daily routines
and into a new creative space for a while.

Watercolor painting workshop in Tuscany:
Join Vicky for an exciting week of watercolor painting in Tuscany. You will be staying in San Fedele, a
medieval monastery artfully renovated into deluxe accommodations, preserving the spirit and architectural
detail of the historic structure. Contact Vicky for information on the Summer
Workshop 2009.
Workshops:
My "Art Escapes" workshops cater to special interest groups in watercolor, pastels and mixed media.
Half day and full day workshops are conducted from time to time, either at
my studio in Loveland, Colorado, or on the premises of the hosting organization. Most
of my workshops are held on Saturdays and are designed for special interest groups
such as art leagues and associations.
Classes:
All classes are designed for beginner and intermediate students. Class size
is limited to 12 students. Classes run in blocks of around 19 weeks, followed by a few
weeks of break time. Students may select the weeks they can come. Classes are
held in my studio on Tuesdays. The following time slots are available until filled:
10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
And every other Wednesday:
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon (Advanced watercolor)
1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Pastel)
